Luego de su nominación a los Latin Grammy en el 2019 y su gramófono en el 2016, 123 Andrés – Andrés y Christina – regresa junto a su equipo de producción con un sonido elaborado y moderno, re-inventando canciones tradicionales con humor y calidez. Una idea tengo yo anima a los pequeños científicos a observar los fenómenos naturales con canciones sobre la tecnología, el espacio, los seres vivos, y mucho más.
What is matter? What is a telescope? Latin Grammy-winning 123 Andrés presents Una Idea Tengo Yo (“I Have an Idea”) with 11 upbeat songs, completely in Spanish, to get the family curious about all things science-related.
Melodías tradicionales, como “Arroz con leche” y “La víbora de la mar”, se transforman con nuevas líricas y ritmos pegajosos – entre ellos la cumbia y el son jarocho – y se convierten en himnos de la observación científica. Por ejemplo, la canción que da título al álbum, “Una idea tengo yo”, utiliza un ritmo urbano para inspirar a los pequeños a ser inventores e innovadores.

In a very dark room with no light, I can’t see anything.
I turn on a flashlight and its light makes everything bright.

and if a car is coming you see the headlights.
