Andrés is celebrating his first CD and Cinco de Mayo this May with un concierto muy único y especial.
In honor of Mexican culture, familias will get to see a very special version of If I Had a Mariachi, featuring dancers from Los Quetzales Mexican Dance Ensemble, a Northern Virginia Mexican folkloric dance group.
Andrés will also perform Daddy Was a Migrant Worker, written in the Norteño style, otro ritmo regional from Mexico.
La fiesta continúa con otras canciones from the CD, including La Clave and Nuestra Fiesta. But Andrés can’t play them by himself, which means más invitados especiales…
We’ll have percussionist Hector ‘Coco’ Barez, an amazing percussionist from Puerto Rico, in our band.
On trombone we have Kevin Cerovich – a past winner of the International Jazz Trombone Competition.
Además… drummer and co-producer of the album Luis Angel Bonilla, Oscar Perez on the piano, Jorge Perez on the bass, and Camilo Díaz also on percussion… un concierto de verdad that toda la familia will enjoy!
PLUS, we’re also featuring mi gran amigo Uncle Devin from The Uncle Devin Show as our opening act.
No te lo pierdas, don’t miss this event… los esperamos on May 3!
